COVID-19 safety requirements to enter the Kenny Lake public library-Tuesdays only 4-6pm
The Kenny Lake Public Library has decided to provide an opportunity for one patron at a time to come into the library on Tuesdays from 4 to 6 PM when a volunteer is there. Patrons can select library material to borrow and use one of the patron computers.
In order to be in compliance with COVID-19 safety requirements, the following will be required of any patron wanting to take advantage of this opportunity.
- 1. Only one family member at a time is allowed to enter the library.
- 2. Wear a facemask at all times when inside the building.
- 3. Use hand sanitizer provided by the library when first entering the building.
- 4. Only touch those surfaces necessary to use or get items you want to borrow, whenever possible.
- 5.Patron stays in the library are limited to 30 minutes.
Before using the KLPL WiFI, patrons must read and sign the acceptable use agreement. Some of the guidelines are highlighted below. A full document will be provided when signing up to be a patron or before use.
I. GUIDELINES FOR USE OF INTERNET
The Internet workstations are available at no charge to all library users. Library users are limited to a 30-minute session, unless there are no other patrons waiting to use a computer.
A black and white printer is available. The cost for printing is $.25 per page.
Free wireless access is available at the Kenny Lake Public Library. This is an unsecure network that users access at their risk. Connection to the KLPL’s network signifies agreement to abide by the Library’s policies and procedures. Patrons must read and agree to the Internet Use Policy before use. Internet Use Policy can be obtained at the library.
Note: We ask that patrons who use the internet from their cars please shut off engines while parked outside the library. Thank you.
